Training for high schools

Our 14-16 programme commences the process of preparing young people for today’s engineering world. Gaining an understanding of industrial processes as well as supporting them to gain relevant qualifications.

In our wide range of training and support, they gain realistic experience of what happens in the industry and what they can expect when they go to work.

They can have hands-on experience of rapid prototyping, vacuum casting, 3D routing, laser cutting, CNC machining.

We offer a BTEC in engineering for Years 10 and 11. Students attend half a day a week.

Students studying GCSE graphic products benefit from taking their graphics and creating prototypes and getting their designs ready for production.

We also offer single day and half-day experiences that are engineering, science or maths-based – short programmes as part of schools’ stretching programmes, enrichment and also re-engagement.
